Timthy Carthy

Tim is the Senior Partner with Duignan Carthy O’Neill (‘DCON’), a Dublin-based accounting and consulting Firm. After studying law at Trinity College Dublin, Tim qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, a multinational accounting Firm. Tim worked in senior positions with Arthur Andersen in Australia, Chicago and Paris. Tim has been a partner with DCON since 1999, specializing in audit and accounting matters for Irish companies and also foreign-owned companies operating in Ireland. He also specializes in dispute resolution, valuation and has given evidence in the High Court as an independent expert.

Tim is a fluent French speaker with a range of French-speaking clients. He is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, has studied at the University of Chicago Business School (selected classes) and has been decorated by the French State for his service in promoting French culture in Ireland. In addition to the above, Tim acts as consultant and non-executive director for a number of Irish companies across a number of industries.
