David Hammond
Chairman of the Board
David Hammond is executive chairman of Nogra Pharma Limited, having been with the company since its establishment in Ireland in 2005, initially in a non-executive role. He qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 1991, but has been working in industry since 1994, beginning as in-house counsel in the Irish office of Baring Asset Management, moving into business development shortly after. He became Chief Operating Officer of Sanlam Asset Management Ireland in 2003, leaving to start a consulting firm, Bridge Consulting, in 2005 advising international firms on, among other areas, establishing operations in Ireland. He left Bridge in 2014 and now operates, in addition to his role at Nogra Pharma, as a consultant and non-executive director for a number of companies. He has an MBA from Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin and is a CFA Charterholder.
